Fear is not of God. Fear is a device of the enemy that is designed to distract you from focusing on God.
There are many pressures in life that scare us. Too often it is fear that drives man to seek escape from life's troubles by ungodly means. When our fear is caused by our circumstances, then our faith in the Lord diminishes. But as faith stands firm on God's promises, fear is dispelled.
God fills our hearts with peace and love, and fear cannot be anywhere where peace and love are present. It doesn't matter even when we are going through difficulties. This is why we must put our trust in God; for His guidance will never give us reason to fear.
Let today be the day that you and I begin to praise God regardless of what our lives may be like because as children of God, fear is no longer welcome in our lives.
