Trust God

But the pot he was making of clay did not come out like he wanted it. So the pot-maker used the clay to make another pot that pleased him.

Jeremiah 18:4 (NLV)

It is not always easy to accept the circumstances of our life, especially when we do not see a way out or the solution is slow in coming. We pray, we fast, nothing happens. Some of us go so far as to ask for help in prayer. We show faith and perseverance, but that brings nothing concrete. We always end up in the same place complaining.

No circumstance, no matter how terrible, can escape God's attention. He sees everything and He knows your limits. If He doesn't step in, it's not because He's late, but rather because He's doing something bigger than what you see. Often our circumstances are a way God uses to occupy our minds while He is working for us or to focus our attention on what He wants to say to us.

Do not be discouraged because just like this clay vase, God can start again as long as He does not have the result He expects from us. But that doesn't mean He doesn't see us or isn't interested in us. In verse 6, He says to Jeremiah, "Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so you are also in my hand." So don't worry because you are in God's hand. He will take care of you even if you don't understand his way.

May the grace of God be with you.
