Waiting for God in Prayer (Part 2)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

1 John 5:14 (NKJV)

In Psalms 25:5, David wrote, "...For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day." This shows us that all his hope was in God. He knew and had the assurance that God would always work on his behalf, and he did not hesitate to place his trust in the Lord. Instead of complaining in his difficult times, he chose to worship God with his heart.

This should serve as an example for Christians today. We must have patient expectation as we wait for God to answer our prayers in due time. Through our long sufferings, circumstances, and stormy days, we must trust in the Lord and wait with hope. Waiting on God means putting all our desire toward Him knowing that He cares about our needs.

One of the things I would like to say to you today, as Christians, we should rejoice in the presence of the Lord in our lives. Even if we don't see Him, He is working for us; even though we don't know what He is doing, He is still working out His plan in our life.

So never doubt God's will to provide for you at all times of your lives.
