May those who praise You find peace and joy in Your presence, Lord our God. You are always present for those who seek Your face and walk in obedience to Your word. It is to You that we cry when the enemy attacks us without reason to reduce us to helplessness. In You we find refuge. Hear our cries and deliver us Lord, we need You in these times of distress.
Lord, we need You in our decisions, even if sometimes we rebel against You to act according to our carnal desires. We ask Your forgiveness and we bow before Your face to receive Your grace in Jesus Christ. From the height of Your throne, Lord, extend Your hand to help the abandoned one left to himself. Calm his heart and give him the hope that he can never find anywhere else but in You.
