Our father, here we are before you today, lifting up our hearts in gratitude and thanksgiving. We thank you for all you have done for us, known and unknown. We have nothing to give you in return except our adoration and praise. Despite our unfaithfulness, you remain faithful to us. Thank you Lord.
Many people do not know you but are looking for an answer to their question or a reason to live. They are lost and see no way out. We ask you, Lord, to have compassion on them, to open their spiritual eyes to help them understand that Jesus is the answer.
Keep us from turning away from you and give us strength to face whatever the world throws at us, for our true desire is to serve you and walk in your ways.
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray to you.
